I want to play my Cricket Coach 2009 in a window. I take the 'play in a window' option but it always starts full screen and I have to manually change it. How can I stop it from doing that so that it saves the option and starts in a window?

I logged this issue a while ago with no response. I have just settled with manually changing it when I start. This started happening for me after the 3.10 release.

when the game is starting in full screen you can press Left Shift+Enter and this will switch to window no need to change it in the menu in game you can switch before.

Oli did acknowledge this in an earlier post

Thanks for the replies. It isn't a real good solution, but it will have to do for now by the looks.

This is a problem that appeared in a later version. I have no idea why, I looked into it in depth but with no luck. Nothing has actually changed related to it, it must be something to do with the way shortcuts are handled by the installer program I think.

It would be possible to create a shortcut manually that should run it windowed. All you need to do is run the program Cricket Coach 2009.exe and with 'window' after it.

"Cricket Coach 2009.exe window" - would be the command.

Yeah I have tried that already. Thanks anyway.

Sorry, must have missed Oli's response earlier. Also didn't know about the Left Shift + Enter combination.

As with the previous poster, I have also added the window parameter to the shortcut with no effect.

I wish I knew why the 'window' command line argument wasn't working anymore in some cases. Nothing on the game side changed. If anyone does figure out what is going wrong then please do post it here so a fix can be applied for everyone to benefit from.
