Re-installation didn't help anything at all; nor did reverting to 3.10.

This seems to be a critical error and I can't get the game to run at all any more.

Is there any progress on this?? It's a very annoying issue and I'm obviously not getting any value for money if the game isn't going to work...

This maybe a long shot but do you have any other games that are activated via eLicence?

I had a similar issue with one of my other games and i had to unlicence all of them the install and licence then again after the other program i also run Vista and CC09 has not been an issue.

what is your vista specs?

Only Cricket Coach 07 but I uninstalled that a while ago.

I'm on XP as well, not Vista as the thread suggests but I am getting the same problem which means it's not subject to just one OS.

Are you using any Anti-Virus checkers? Avira AntiVir recently decided the game was a virus for some reason and potentially blocked the exe file on many computers. I reminded them that it's a cricket game and not a virus and they fixed the problem with their software. Still not good PR, and no sign of them giving any compensation. The point being that a virus checker/security software might be blocking the game for some reason, it's worth checking out.

Hey Oli I decided to recheck my firewalls (Windows Vista Default Firewall and Mcafee Antivirus). It Worked :D It might pay to double check guys and make sure its unblocked on both firewalls (or just windows default if you only have that).

Yeh no good here. It's nothing to do with a virus message, I'm getting the "illegal operation" dialog.
