Just a quick query, does anybody know what international teams have active 'A' sides, and which also have active U19 teams? Cricket Coach 2011 can cope with these and I might well include them in the final release of the game. It depends on calculation speed etc.

'A' sides (with special names if they have them)

England Lions
Australia 'A'

U19 Sides

England
Australia
(those who played in the U19 World Cup I presume)

Oli, the following teams competed in the U19 WC (doubt you could fit all of these in):

England
Australia
India
South Africa
New Zealand
Pakistan
Bangladesh
Zimbabwe
Sri Lanka
West Indies
Afghanistan
Hong Kong
Ireland
USA
Canada
Papua New Guinea

Only the 10 test countries have A teams with only England having a 'special' name

Often the under 19s tour with the senior teams and play their counterparts. Ie, during the Pak Aus game Aus under 19s played England Under 19s. Remember u19s play four day 'youth' Tests. As for the A teams they often compete away from the senior teams on different tours, often meeting with another non host A team to make a triangler. For example while eng are in aus this winter the A team may tour South Africa.
Hope this helps. Not sure how much you know already. But might help with tour structures.

I think all the test nations seem to have 'A' teams:

Australia
Bangladesh
England
India
New Zealand
Pakistan
South Africa
Sri Lanka
West Indies
Zimbabwe

In Cricket Coach 2011 maybe all the test nations could have an 'A' team and when a new team becomes a test nation they get an 'a' team as well.

Ireland, Scotland and the Netherlands sent their 'A' teams to the European Cricket Championship Divison One tournament to give younger players some experience this year.

Most nations even the associate and affiliate nations seem to have a U19 team so I think all nations should have a national u19 team on cricket coach 2011.

Hope this has helped.

Make them standalone to the game as this will surely gonna boost the game speed.

this sounds great as in football manager you can see how guys go in the reserves go and this helps you with your selection

would there also be county or state reserve teams?

Oli, Could you be able to make it available to manage an A or U19 team plus a county or a state etc.
As a national manager, you should be able to manage the nation, A team and U19 team at the same time.
