Just wondering if anyone else has this problem as every time i run the game, it crashes in the middle of a game. ill be doing really well then have to restart and end up doing really really bad

This sounds very unusual, can you describe when it happens? Is it always at a certain moment?

yeah, only during a match and 9/10 during a first class match (or test now i won icup 3 years in a row!) and usually happens while im batting but occasionally not

Does it still happen if you turn off the 2D match highlights?

I'm experiencing a similar issue (i.e. - fairly frequent crashes, usually when batting in a FC game). However, I am running the game on Linux under Wine. I'll be doing some experimentation in a Virtual Machine and with Windows on the "bare iron" though, so I'll post here if I discover anything useful.
