hey im now in 2014 with namibia having gained test status fairly quickly. the players who have come through are even far worse than when i started down in world league division 2. I thought you said the newgens quality increased with the teams rised rankings? why are my newgens even worse than when I was way down the rankings ladder? I am now a test side for now and infact my players are ALOT LOT worse than the low ranked team I started with.

I'm lucky to get a newgen with stats in the 40's, i started with especially bowlers with overall stats of about 70

why is this?

In this particular case I think what has happened is Namibia has been rated as a country which produces players of between 40-50ish skill level, however at the beginning of the game I have manually created/rated their players, so the skill levels you begin with are my own ratings of the actual players, rather than 'typical' Namibian players in Cricket Coach 2009. The two aren't the same and this is causing this behaviour which I appreciate looks strange.

Thanks for bringing up this issue, in the future I will ensure players who have been manually rated are in line with their countries 'player production' rating, and vice-versa.

so the country newgen quality does not change along with its rankings rating?

Yes it does.

In this situation the newgens will improve gradually as you perform well. However the original players are significantly better than any of the newgens.

So your original players might be rated 60-70, with your newgens rated 40-50.

Your good performances will have raised the newgens rating to 50-60, but like you have seen these still aren't comparable with your original players, so it seems like you are being hard done by.

This inconsistency will be improved in the future, as I can see how annoying it must be.
